IQ-EQ wins prestigious STEP Private Client Award
IQ-EQ has won the Trust Company of the Year (large firm) category at the STEP 2021/22 Private Client Awards, which took place during a virtual ceremony last night.
Hosted by STEP, the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations, the Awards are highly regarded as a celebration of excellence across the private client world. All entries go through a rigorous, practitioner-led judging process to select the best in the industry.
The category was sponsored by McDermott Will & Emery and had a strong set of finalists, with IQ-EQ beating shortlisted entries from Butterfield Trust, J.P. Morgan Private Bank, JTC and ZEDRA.
The Judges said: ‘Aside from IQ-EQ’s impressive global reach and wide range of asset management categories, its emphasis on excellent client service is exemplary. It showed clear evidence of strong management and growth with innovation and education at the forefront of its accomplishments.’
STEP Chief Executive Mark Walley said:
‘“The STEP Private Client Awards celebrate the very best of the best and all those shortlisted should be very proud. The motivational and best practice work seen in each entry provides inspiration for everyone working in private client practice."
STEP’s charity partner was the World Literacy Foundation. Donations from entrants and on the night raised over GBP65,000 for the charity, which helps to lift children out of poverty and transform their lives through literacy and access to educational resources. The awards were sponsored by Ampla Finance, Katten, McDermott Will & Emery and Leo Trust Switzerland.
